Just got Ultraman Series 1 volume 2 in the mail and can't help but notice a very slight inconsistency in the care they put into their product.
Here is volume 2 (the last half of the series)
Three discs each in it's own charming little sliver case with interior and exterior art, individualized disc design, and insert. Box 1 has the chapters booklet and typical adverts, box 2 has two trading cards with monster stats, book 3 has the episode guide and monster encyclopedia. All together in a very sharp foil embossed hard box donning the Science Patrol's logo.
Here is volume 1 (the first half of the series)
Two discs packed loosely into a single case, each of them in one of those windowed paper sleeves you get anti-virus software in.
Consistency! SHUWATCH!
Seriously, the night & day difference is about as painful as the original opening versus the dubbed one.
It's like watching Locoroco's theme song being born decades prematurely before it's lungs fully form. Aww :3
Put on your flared collar and bell bottoms it's time for that groovy cat Hayata is about transformify and bust some discotastic moves on some totally heavy kaiju!
I'm kind of scared of what the bootleg Kamen Rider Black complete series will look like now...
